North Wind 47
The North Wind 47 is a proven offshore cruising yacht, renowned for its solid construction, comfortable accommodation and excellent sailing performance. Launched in 1991, this well-maintained example measures 14.25 metres in length, with a 4.23-metre beam, is powered by a Volvo Penta 90 HP inboard diesel engine and has a 2.00-metre draft. The interior features three cabins and two heads, including one manual and one electric toilet. The fully equipped galley includes both gas and induction cooking, oven, microwave, television with TV antenna and audio system with speakers. Navigation equipment includes GPS chartplotter, Raymarine C70 radar, new depth sounder installed in 2023, sonar, Navtex, wind instruments and VHF radio. Victron battery charger and inverter, 220V generator with new pump, AGM batteries, gas detector and shore power provide complete onboard autonomy. The engine also benefits from a freshwater flushing system, new alternator, new engine mounts, new water pump and new Volvo shaft seal.
Additional safety equipment includes a liferaft, EPIRB, black water holding tank and dual bilge pumps. Registered under the Spanish List 7 for private use, with the possibility of a berth in Mataró, this North Wind 47 is an excellent opportunity for serious offshore cruising.
